The aim is these blogs is to give a practical series of examples and off the cuff pieces of analysis which fit in to a far larger scale project of making Philosophy Political. Why does this matter? Because as Foucault says, one of them oddities of thinking is the extra silent thoughts one thinks without knowing it - call them assumptions or prejudicesor what you like. My aim in the pieces here, but also on the website, is then to reweave these assumptions, or at least aim to show how they might be unpicked. Hence the importance of the dictionary which is by far the most important entry here, and really deserves a blog of its own (it is called noted on media language)...
